We all remember where we were when we learned about the planes hitting the twin towers, the Pentagon and the field in Pennsylvania.  I was in San Diego at the time and was advised by a co-worker to turn on the tv.  An incredible sadness rolled over me as I knew our lives would be changed forever.

A positive that came from this was the unity we felt as a country.  My hope and dream is that we can recapture that spirit of togetherness.  People hugging each other, flags on peoples cars and homes.  It was a wonderful feeling in spite of what happened.

I know we can feel this way again.  Never forget!
